Camp Guidelines

​The safety and well-being of the Young Women are our utmost concern, Thank you for your cooperation which will help everyone to have a wonderful time at camp!

• Remain within camp boundaries.  No young woman may leave camp (even with your parents) without notifying your ward leader and the Stake Young Women's Presidency. We are responsible for you and must know where you are at all times.

 

• No Visitors.  Young Women Camp is closed to visitors.  Only those who have registered or been invited by Stake leaders for a specific purpose should come to Camp.  We appreciate the interest and support that family, friends and ward members have for the Young Women of our Stake but unscheduled visits can be disruptive, a distraction, a strain on limited resources and possibly a safety issue.  If a YW needs to come late or leave early, parents may come to camp to provide transportation but the stay should be brief and the time scheduled in advance with the Stake Leadership.  Parents and Young Women must check in with the Stake Young Women's Presidency upon arrival and departure.

 

• Buddy system must be used at all times.

 

• No pranks.  (Acts of kindness and service are more appreciated.)

 

• Attend all group gatherings (announcements, meals, campfires, group activities, etc.)

• Dress appropriately, follow For the Strength of Youth Standards.  The Lord’s standard is for you to honor the sacredness of your body.  Let this truth and the Spirit be your guide as you make decisions.  Clothes and sturdy shoes must be worn to and from the shower house and the pool.  Flip flops are not allowed anywhere except the shower house and at the pool.

• Shower quickly and be considerate of others in line.  Shower during free time as space and time is limited.

​

• Turn in all prescription medication to the camp Nurse upon arrival. Turn in all non-prescription medicine to your Ward Camp Leader upon arrival.

• Keep camp clean.
